If you’re searching for accommodation in Kuta, Bali, please rule out the Blue Ocean Bungalows. The place, located next to the Kumala Pantai between the Jayakarta and Double Six street, has a racist regulation.

My sister called the place wanting to book rooms for her and her friends. She received a response saying that the bungalows are for foreigners only. Their management rejects Indonesian guests interested to stay at their place, simply because they are Indonesian. It does not matter even if the Indonesians are willing to pay as much as the foreigners.

Why choosing a racist management in a paradise? If you do not want to meet Indonesians, why bother to come all the way here and spent all that money for tickets?

I have never been rejected checking in to any hotel in the world. Now, my sister got rejected in our own backyard?!

Pemandangan sepanjang jalan sampai ke restaurant ini sangat menyenangkan. Tipikal jalan daerah Bandung Utara. Jalan yang tidak terlalu lebar dan berkelok, melalui rumah-rumah modis diatas bukit. Udaranya juga segar minim polusi.

Kopi Ireng adalah salah satu restoran yang berbaris disisi kanan kiri jalan di daerah Dago Bukit Pakar. Lokasinya jauh ke atas melewati Selasar Sunaryo. Seperti banyak resto yang bertebaran di sekitarnya, bangunannya menjulang ke atas jadi untuk sampai ke tempat duduk-duduknya tamu harus sedikit berolah raga. Sesampainya diatas, pemandangannya indah, luas dan lapang. Cantik.
